The extruded particles in Purina's EXTRUPRO products increase the energy availability and digestibility in the ration unlike any other feed manufacturing process (rolling, pelleting, expanding or micronizing). Extrusion allows the starch granules to absorb water, swell quickly and makes the starch more rapidly digested in the rumen.
